Superga relocates in Sandton City with a fresh, contemporary design.

Superga has unveiled its newly relocated store in Sandton City, introducing an updated retail experience with a sleek, industrial aesthetic. Designed by Plan-IT Design, the space features clean lines, minimalist finishes, and carefully curated pops of colour that elevate the brand’s timeless footwear collections.

A standout feature of the new concept is the lacquered metal plinths, strategically placed to highlight key styles. The store’s white corrugated wall-to-roof sheeting, paired with halo-illuminated display shelves, creates a bright and immersive shopping environment. The nesting table sets, finished in blue, red, and white with soft edges, add a dynamic yet functional element to the space. Complementing this, the cement-effect plastered walls and matching vinyl flooring bring a raw, urban feel that reflects the brand’s effortlessly cool personality.

To enhance the depth and ambiance, up-and-over steel bands with concealed lighting frame the point-of-sale area, seamlessly tying in the special metal accents with their vibrant colour detailing. A striking LED tube light shaped in the signature “S” logo introduces a futuristic design element, aligning with Superga’s evolving global aesthetic.

The store’s refined interior design has been captured to showcase Superga’s diverse range of collections, from the iconic 2750 Classic, which celebrates its 100th anniversary this year, to the rugged Alpina and the statement platform sneakers that continue to set trends. With a curated selection of colours and prints, the new space embodies the perfect balance between heritage and modern fashion.
